This is an original production drawing from the Walt Disney Studios production of Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983). This drawing features Ebenezer Scrooge using his cane to knock a piece of coal out of Bob Cratchit's hand, and was created at the studio and used during the production of the film. The underlying blue graphite drawing was created by Disney Legend, Glen Keane, with the cleaned up drawing done by his assistant. The overall measurements of the piece are 12.5" x 15.5" and the image itself measures 9.25" x 11.5". Most of this scene would have the characters animated on separate layers, so there are few drawings with both characters on one sheet, like this one. The drawing is in very good condition.
