An original production background from the Disney Studios animated Mickey Mouse short, "R'Coon Dawg" (1951). Featuring a beautiful rendering of a pond just after dusk, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 12.5"x15.5" overall, the background is in very good condition with minor edge and corner wear due to age and handling.
