An original production background from the Filmation Studios animated series,"The Superman/ Aquaman Hour of Adventure" (1967-1968). Featuring a brightly colored Indian cityscape, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode entitled, "The Halyah of the Himalayas" which aired on October 28, 1967. Measuring 10.5"x50.5" overall, the background is in good condition with a bend and tearing on the left side, edge wear throughout, and some minor discoloration to the paint.
